Christmas in Sapporo – MusicOrba Together Again at Kitara !

This Christmas, on Friday, December 25, Tomohiro Hatta returns to his hometown of Sapporo for another piano recital, following last year’s concert.

The performance will take place at the Small Hall of Sapporo Concert Hall Kitara.

The first half of the concert will feature Tomohiro Hatta in a solo piano programme. In the second half, “Tomohiro with Friends”, he will be joined by pianists Yuko Ueno, Eri Goto and his MusicOrba partner, Ricardo Vieira, for a festive programme of two-piano and piano four-hands music.

For this special Christmas concert in Sapporo, Ricardo will join Tomohiro in a selection of well-loved festive favourites:

Leroy Anderson – Sleigh Ride
Irving Berlin – White Christmas
Robert D. Vandall – Duet Fantasy on Jingle Bells

Our heartfelt thanks to RTPi, Portugal’s public television channel, for dedicating a beautiful feature to MusicOrba.

The documentary retraced our journey, highlighted our recent tours in China and Japan, and emphasized our artistic commitment to younger generations.

Seeing all these facets brought together in one documentary, alongside artists we deeply admire, was a profoundly moving experience.

Every concert is an encounter, every note a bond that unites us beyond borders. We return to France with our hearts filled with inspiration for the next chapter of our musical journey !

‣We spent just over two weeks touring China. We began our journey in a city in western China, not far from Myanmar and Laos, and then moved south and west. This tour in China will remain an unforgettable memory for us! We had the privilege of performing in stunning venues and were welcomed by warm and enthusiastic audiences. We concluded the tour on a high note and would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported us.

‣What an extraordinary week in Portugal! We had the privilege of holding a masterclass and a lecture in Santa Maria da Feira, which were a tremendous success: all our slots from 9am to 7pm were fully booked! We are deeply moved by the enthusiasm and diversity of our students, who came from all corners of the country, from Lisbon to Braga. The warm welcome we received and the excellent level of the participants made this experience absolutely memorable. We look forward to the opportunity to return. A huge thank you to everyone for sharing this adventure with us!
